A bang in-form Tom Gilmore has six crackers on another big day of racing action.
Flemington R3 No.3 - SECRET NUMBER (NAP)
Very talented import having his first start in Australia for Godolphin. Has a tonne of class as evidenced by the fact that this time 12 months ago in the G3 September Stakes at Kempton Park he finished a mere 2 lengths of would-be Dubai World Cup winner Prince Bishop! Draws to be tractable and will relish the trip, adept on soft tracks too - fancy he has panels on these.

Flemington R6 No.6 - SRIKANDI (each-way)
This is an outstanding mare and fancy she can run a big race around the short-priced fav. Was very good first-up in the Manikato when a touch deep/came home against the pattern to finish 2nd. Will strip much fitter for the run and keen she'll have absolutely no issue with a soft/heavy track (won G1 Tatts Tiara on a soft6!). Drawn in down the straight which might be an issue but she'll get a lovely run and look the winner at some stage.

Flemington R7 No.4 - BOW CREEK
Was nothing short of outstanding fresh at Moonee Valley over 1600m when he flew home (late splits huge/against pattern of the day!) to only just miss, that was his first run in three months so fancy plenty of improvement taken. Pattern of the day may suit as they appeared to be getting off the rail here later on Oaks day. Not concerned by the soft track and looks well in with the 55.5kgs. G2 winner over a mile in Europe!

Canterbury R6 No.4 - BERRIMILLA (each-way)
Has been good on firmer tracks of late but strikes a near on bottomless surface here which should suit her down to the ground. At her peak fitness wise (which is a must in these conditions!) and draws nicely for a suck run tracking the leaders. Drops significantly in weight (in well relative with mares allowance!) for recent effort and looks a big price.

Doomben R6 No.2 - FELTRE
Returns fresh this bloke and strikes a heavy track which suits! usually gets a touch out of his ground over the 1200m and wants further but fancy he will be wound up enough to be a major player here from the inside draw. Can position up handy enough to the speed and look to peel off the leaders back for the final crack at them. Well weighted, too.

Morphettville R3 No.4 - COOL SNITZEL
Promising 3yo Peter Moody filly returning here, was a dominant winner on debut back in April over 1100m (race rated well relative to the older horses!) and then was a forgivable failure down the straight at Stakes grade. Given time to develop and mature both physically and mentally, can run a big race fresh before heading back to Melbourne to target some black-type. Moody stable dangerous when heading over the border!
