Secret Nova is expected to be far too good for her rivals at Ascot.
Bendigo R1 No.4 - TYRANNIZE
Lovely horse this who on debut beat home the genuine group-class Demonstrate, was then again pipped by a good one second-up. Was a forgivable failure at Bendigo over two months ago in his most recent run and has since been gelded. He rolled around in a jumpout at Flemington 13/11 in good time and draws well/maps for the run of the race here. He should be mighty hard to beat in a pretty smart field!

Bendigo R4 No.3 - GREY SAMBUCCA (NAP)
Gelding was mighty unlucky at Moonee Valley when tracking the speed, just completely boxed on and only got a split late to just miss. Think he's in very well at the set-weight conditions and draws favourably for the box seat run in transit, like the progression to 1300m and keen he's at his top for this third-up. Meets weak opposition and should only be beaten by a poor ride.

Warwick Farm R3 No.1 - CRYSTAL FLUTE
Been outstanding chasing in two career starts to date, steps to the 1400m for the first time which will no doubt suit but draws awkwardly. If she can leave the machines well i'd like to see her position up a touch closer to the speed, taking luck out of it I think she will be winning this on the way to better races. Has peeled off some enormous splits to hit the line of late over the six furlongs, she is quality!

Ascot R3 No.1 - SECRET NOVA
Very nice mare who returns fresh here off the back of a nice trial at Belmont over the 1000m, looks in great order and meets as weak a field as she's seen in some time. First-up last prep led them up over 1000m and was only reeled in by a genuine Listed/Group class sprinter, then went on to almost beat Madassa (4th in G1 Winterbottom Stakes last weekend!). Can lead/box seat, either way you look at it she'll be far too good.

Ipswich R3 No.10 - TRAINERS POCKET
Nice filly who debuted in good style over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast three weeks ago, winner of that has since come out and won again (looks a genuine city class horse!) which reads well for this. Is all the better for the debut and cant see her spending a penny in transit, soft track no issue and only carries the 54kgs after the claim from Orman. Looks the best bet on the card at Ipswich.
