Kyneton R4 No.2 - CHEETAH RIDGE
Well bred gelding was good at Traralgon when only going down narrowly chasing hard in on-pacers race, he turns around on a four-day backup which im a big fan of, they often really spark off a short break. He's come up big overs considering there looks to be decent speed on paper and he again will get back and look to be hitting the line hard, if they can make ground he could be one flashing late.

Kyneton R8 No.5 - FREEDOM SON
Lightly raced 4yo who showed real promise earlier this year when winning on debut then heading to Morphettville and running well in whats proven to be a good form race (wasnt far off Trupt & Bay Road = Stakes class horses). With natural improvement and physical maturity he can account for this lot. Drawn to box seat and pop three deep rounding the bend, should put them away. He'll measure up to Saturday grade this time in.

Goulburn R2 No.1 - DUPERIE SAGA
Was a really talented 2yo this fella albeit a touch wayward. Has been gelded and trialled up on two occasions for his return here, the most recent of which he responded well under riding to win comfortably in good time. Like that he's drawn to stalk the leaders and with the race plates going on he appears in great physical shape, forgiving of two NSW based failures on soft tracks, on top of the ground he's a different horse and I think he can show us that today.

Mackay R1 No.4 - WINGED WARRIOR (NAP)
Think this fella is very well weighted at the scale, only carries 54.5kgs! He resumed in good race in town and was only fair grinding to the line in a leader-dominated affair, and was then plain over 1100m at Rockhampton as a short priced fav. Gets to the 1200m third-up and back to a track he loves, looks a great bet on a really tough card.
