Alabama Missile could take some pegging back in the sprint at Moonee Valley.
Sale R1 No.3 - REX CELERITATE
Blinkers (finally) go on this fellow who has shown plenty of talent without being able to get the job done, today does look his race to lose though! His best performances have been when allowed to jump and run, with the shades on/gate 1 he should be able to ping to the lead and run them along at an even tempo before skipping away. He'll be better for that run fresh two weeks ago.

Moonee Valley R3 No.10 - AVENUE WHISPER
This filly is bred in the purple and was very well backed to win on debut, she went down a nose after a fairly arrogant ride and should have won in my opinion. She'll be much improved for the debut and should lead them up from the soft draw, if she can pinch a soft time of it up front the pattern of recent meetings would suggest it could be hard to run her down. Stakes class filly in the making

Moonee Valley R6 No.2 - ALABAMA MISSILE
Interstate raider who whose two return runs this campaign have been terrific, was a dominant winner fresh in slick time and then only just missed when run down by quality sprinter Karacatis (race rated highly on the day!). She's a speedy customer so she should fly the lids and lead them up which in these 955m sprints is a vital factor. First time to the Valley is a slight query but happy to take the risk.

Sunshine Coast R3 No.1 - SAMMY SPARROW
Completely blew the start here at the Coast two weeks ago over the 1400m, came out 3-4 lengths slower than them and was immediately never a winning chance. With that in mind his effort to finish 2.5 lengths off them was quite amazing, it didnt pan out well for the swoopers and yet he still kept coming. If he can jump with them despite the wide draw I fancy he could be too good, can sit 3 pairs back with cover on my map.

Canterbury R4 No.4 - ALUCINARI
Lovely filly this who is low flying at the moment, was very good fresh behind a smart one and then won convincingly here two weeks ago over the 1100m. She got back after bombing the start and absolutely motored late to win comfortably, her final 200m was sizzling! She'll again get back and with a bit of speed on paper she'll be hurtling home over the top of them again, happy she sticks at the trip!
