It's a quiet racing day but Tom Gilmore has two nuggets at Stony Creek.
Stony Creek R3 No.12 - MISS JAMAICA
Was disappointing fresh at Echuca three weeks ago after a two month layoff following her debut (when good in a slick maiden), didnt really look comfortable at any point in running and when asked for an effort really one-batted to the line. Rider J.McNeil mentioned when returning to scale that she made a respiratory noise which indicates there may have been an issue. Three weeks between runs to get right and from the soft draw, i'm giving her a chance to make amends.
Miss Jamaica - 1pt @ 4.2
Stony Creek R5 No.3 - MY SURVIVOR
Reckon he copped a pretty ordinary steer over the 1100m two weeks ago at Kyneton on a day when it was tough to make ground, late splits were good and really hit the line nicely in on-pacers race. They'll be more positive from the inside draw today dropping back to the 1000m, not an overly hot field and he's racing in very consistent form.
My Survivor - 1pt @ 2.7
