Caulfield R2 No.1 - BASS STRAIT

This fella was outstanding when coming from the rear of the field off a pretty average early tempo, was the only one to make ground v. pattern of the race so with a touch more luck he looks mighty hard to beat here. 1700m looks no issue and all he needs is an even enough tempo to be able to come over the top of them. That Delicacy form will hold him in very good shape!

Caulfield R7 No.3 - TRIED AND TIRED

Comes out of a ripping Chester Manifold Stakes where they ran very slick time, he isnt completely at home over the six furlongs so very pleased that he gets out to 1400m this afternoon. Gets in very well at the weights considering his recent efforts and he maps for the right run in transit, keen he's mighty hard to beat!

Caulfield R8 No.13 - SATYA

Think we might be seeing the return of a pretty good mare here. She won well fresh mid last year in what proved a good form race going forward before being competitive at G3/G2 level behind the likes of Politeness (G1 class mare) and La Passe. She jumped out at Flemington 15/1 and wasnt asked to do much but picked up very quickly under her own steam to run through the line like she's on track to run well first-up!

Randwick R1 No.1 - TRAFALGAR

Overcame some obstacles to win in quite impressive fashion at Canterbury two weeks ago, that track is notoriously favourable to those handy to the speed so the fact he managed to bungle the start and weave his way through traffic to score is notable in itself. If he can sit a touch closer from the draw and with a bit of weight relief I assume he'll be pretty tough to beat.
Trafalgar - 1pt @ 4.35

Sunshine Coast R9 No.10 - MURT THE FLIRT

Good horse this and off the back of his recent effort in the Magic Millions Cup behind Lucky Hussler when he was posted/made to work he can win a race of this quality. Gets in on the minimum and draws favourably, he'll box seat and be very hard to beat in my opinion.
Murt The Flirt - 1pt @ 4.8

Murray Bridge R6 No.3 - SNIP OF MAGIC

Somewhat of a specialist over the 900m dash this fella and the way he's racing I see no reason why he wont be winning again, was ridden upside down at Morphettville over the 1050m which was a major forgive, if he can fly the lids and box seat or even lead I cant see him being run down. He gets in with 54kgs!
