It's a bumper day of racing action and Tom Gilmore has six fancies for Oddschecker readers.
Sandown R2 No.5 - JENNIO
This mare was one of the greatest things beaten two weeks ago at Pakenham two weeks ago over the 1400m, never saw daylight at any stage and went to the line hard held. She is progressing well at this stage and big tick to a mile in my book (was 2 lengths off them in G1 Thousand Guineas!). All she needs is some room and as long as pattern allows it she should be very tough to beat.

Sandown R4 No.8 - SHOW US YOUR TATTS
Nice mare this and she is ready to win! Was good fresh over 1400m at Flemington when never suited, and improved drastically second-up at Geelong over 1500m when only being edged out by a key rival here. She gets a 2kg swing on that runner which might be pivotal come the end of 1700m, with that in mind the extra trip will suit and she draws to box seat. Wont be any excuses!

Sandown R5 No.5 - TESTABILITY
She had some enormous splits late in December here over 1300m when storming home from the rear of the field in a race dominated by the leader, her effort was against the pattern and suggested she'd be very tough to beat next time out. Not overly concerned by the month between runs and she does go well on the fresher side and from the inside draw she may be a pair or two closer to them which could prove important. Wins this in my humble opinion.

Canterbury R6 No.10 CHEEKY BABE
Like this filly on the up taking on the older horses, she chased well at a short quote and was probably unlucky not to win here a month ago (winner has since run to a good rating again) over the 1100m on what was a firmer track, think she is much more suited to racing with the sting out (which she gets today). That was a month ago so she might be a touch weak late but with the right run she should be beating this lot.

Ipswich R5 No.4 - BOURBON ROAD
Came out of a $1,000,000 race (when performing ok) to then win here at Ipswich two weeks ago, tracked a good tempo and really put them to the sword when straightening. That race rated ok and I think and he only rises 2kgs for the win, he again draws the inside and there doesnt look to be a hectic tempo engaged. Can win again!

Ascot R1 No.3 - DAINTY TESS
Was only average as favourite here 10 days ago in what was a good race, they ran slick time and the winner is a very promising horse. This is a significant return in grade and I think she'll be very hard to beat if she can fly the gates and sit leaders girth, with a race under her belt and Pike going on she should beat this lot.
