Tom Gilmore is on hand with some cracking bets on Friday afternoon.
Mornington R3 No.9 - WITHTHEMOST
This isnt an overly strong field and I reckon she's not a half bad filly this, liked her jumpout at Mornington 28/1 in one of the slickest 1000m heats of the morning. She stalked the leader and when asked to quicken let down quite well albeit a touch green. If she isnt too wayward, from the right draw, she'll box seat and be very tough to beat.

Mornington R4 No.9 - WEATHER THE STORM
Really nice filly returning here this afternoon, debut was very good late last year but it was her second run that suggested she had some talent (was on the heels of city winner Kracken). Her jumpout at Mornington 20/1 was very good, wasnt knocked about but did things well enough under her own steam. With the brakes off she should lead this lot and take catching.

Sunshine Coast R1 No.7 - TAMBOS HEART
Did all the work fresh here 10 days ago and was unlucky to be nabbed on the line, winner and third placegetter came from well off them so theres plenty of merit to the performance. Looks a better race on paper from a speed map point of view, will no doubt strip fitter and I like they've stuck to the 1200m. The rail at +8m will certainly suit those closest to the speed early in the night, bog track no ussue.

Moonee Valley R5 No.10 - AUNTY MO
Absolutely flew fresh in slick time at Sandown in early December before progressing to here at The Valley and failing as a hot favourite, very forgiving of that as she pulled up lame in the near fore. Has been given 6 weeks to freshen up/overcome that little niggle and all reports suggest she's going well. Can lead/sit one out-one back from the favourable draw but I wouldnt be disappointed if she jumped and ran them along over the 955m. Her run at Sandown would win this!

Moonee Valley R7 No.10 - ANATOLA
This is a really promising horse and despite the fact she takes on the older gallopers she can make it three on the trot. She won a very slick maiden in early January with winners coming from well behind her, then went to Cranbourne (on a soft track) where things didnt all go her way but still managed to win eased down. Progression into the city was inevitable and I think this is a good race for her, draws to box seat and be the one having the last crack at them from the 250m.
