Sandown R2 No.5 - BLACK DIAMOND GIRL (NAP)

This is a pretty serious filly, she debuted back in December at Kilmore and absolutely brained them over 1100m. They ran over a second quicker than the older horses later in the day, 2nd (since won in town), 4th and 5th have all since come out and won impressively. Jumped out super recently over 800m at Caulfield 2/2 in a heat littered with stars. She's our best of the day right around the country.

Sandown R4 No.11 - LONGKISSGOODNIGHT

Nice mare this who came out of a very hot form race here a month ago to then go on and score comfortably at Ballarat over the 1400m. Like they've sticked at the trip and the fact she's drawn out they'll again be positive (which of late pattern has been favouring). Pretty keen again she'll be hard to beat.

Sandown R8 No.11 - DEVILS PINCH (each-way)

Really liked his win fresh at Sale when he only did what he had to do, but did that well - he box-seated/peeled at the bend and put them away in a matter of strides. Think he strips fitter and with the progression to 1400m at a big track like this he can again be there for a long way, drawn a touch awkward so needs to find a spot in midfield with cover. With the right run he'll be hitting the line well late.

Warwick Farm R1 No.1 - CREDIBLE WITNESS

Did plenty wrong in a $500,000 in December at Randwick and as a result has paid the ultimate price (gelded). Thought his recent trial with that in mind was quite good, the winner was hard ridden and they really gapped third. Trial was the pick of this lot. With a day at the races under his belt and that recent hitout prepping him up nicely for this I think he'll be hard to beat.

Warwick Farm R3 No.2 - DEPLOY

Looks the leader on paper which is a major positive in these types of maidens, his effort in a good race at Randwick two weeks ago on a heavy track was excellent, only nabbed late on the line by a horse that went on to run well in a G3 Eskimo Prince. He'll tighten up plenty from that and with the fact he gets to 1100m with H.Bowman on board - hard to beat.

Ipswich R1 No.10 - ZERO TOLERANCE

Her effort against the pattern here two weeks ago was excellent, had no right to finish as well as she did. Like the fact the tongue-tie an blinkers have gone on, can see them being far more positive early looking to take up a position and the extra 100m of the six furlongs suits down to the ground.
Zero Tolerance - 1pt @ 2.35

Strathalbyn R3 No.1 - ARCHER CITY

He's been competitive in better races than this in his career to date (not far off a promising one in Flex), but his recent performance over 1200m certainly put the writing on the wall that he'd be winning. Hit the line well against the tempo of the race, hence the step to 1350m suiting. Drawing inside doesnt hurt his chances either as he may be able to settle a pair or two closer.
