Chasson can get the day off to a flying start by winning the first at Werribee.
Werribee R1 No.7 - CHASSON
Was a big improver second-up at Mornington two weeks ago when stepping to 1500m, stuck on well in a race that suited swoopers. Reckon he'll be close to his top today at the mile and if he rolls forward again he could be mighty hard to beat. Want to see him roll along at a genuine gallop to suck the sprint out of key rival.

Werribee R4 No.5 - FELICETTE
She absolutely flew fresh at Pakenham two weeks ago this mare, came from well off the speed in a race only run at a moderate gallop to really belt them in the end. The win had plenty of merit with things not all suiting in the run. Cant see 1100m being an issue considering the way she went through the line and with a spot three pairs back again should get more favours in transit (speed ok on paper).

Moonee Valley R4 No.6 - AUNTY MO
Cant see any reason why this flying mare wont be winning another of these 955m events (she won in very slick time), she got the chocolates for us here two weeks ago after being troublesome to load which gives plenty of merit to the win. If she does it right pre-race she again should be mighty hard to beat. Rock-hard fit and has the ability to outspeed them early.

Moonee Valley R6 No.2 - REAL LOVE
Very good mare who was four weeks between runs at Flemington and still managed to perform well, she sat three pairs back off a muddling early tempo (didnt suit) and still managed to find the line well. Strips fitter and the extra trip will suit, drawing the inside poses a query, would like to see her take a more prominent position early if possible. That form around Delicacy at a trip is very tough to ignore!

Moonee Valley R8 No.11 - MARRAKESH (each-way)
She was nothing short of a certainty beaten here two weeks ago over the 1200m when the blinkers went on for the first time after bombing the start, was home 23.45/11.73 late splits which were sizzling and some of the nights quickest. Draws ok and all she needs to do is not be tardy away to go very close tonight!
Marrakesh - 0.5pt e/w @ 9.0
Sunshine Coast R4 No.3 - KARIEGA
Went well on the synthetic surface here two weeks ago over 1100m (touch short), hit the line nicely but just found one better. Reckon with the speed looking genuine enough and back up to 1400m he should be given every chance to come home over the top of them. His form around the likes of Liberation is easily good enough to win this and he has money hoop D.Browne take the ride.
Kariega - 1pt @ 3.1
