Bendigo R2 No.7 - TYCOON

Comes out of a decent race at Tatura a week ago over the 1100m, it was a day where leaders dominated. She jumped awkwardly and really had to be mustered to work outside the leader, hung rounding the bend and then was all over the shop in the straight. Like on a bigger track with the blinkers going on, she'll fly the lids and find the fence early before proving too strong late. Like the drop back to 1000m too.

Bendigo R4 No.6 - SANGRE CALIENTE

Thought her return run was ok at Colac over the 1100m, she was slow away in what proved a race to be dominated by those nearest to the speed. She did hold her position and make some ground late which suggests she's going ok, big key here is the blinkers going on for the first time and the fact that she's drawn out. Will roll forward and offer plenty to catch over the final furlong. Debut effort in July last year when leading in what proved a good maiden would have her winning.
Sangre Caliente - 1pt @ 6.5

Bendigo R5 No.8 - MYSTIC MOON

Won what has proved to be a good form race going forward at Mornington three weeks ago over the 1000m, she jumped well and sat handy to them before extending nicely to the line late. Beat home a horse that has since gone on to run 2.5 lengths behind a G1 winner in town, and the 3rd horse has since won at Werribee. From the soft draw she can box seat and again be the one looking to pounce at the 300m. No disadvantage getting the extra 100m.

Lismore R1 No.8 - SO SHE IS

Thought her effort at Grafton two weeks ago was excellent when leading them up, proved a bit of a sitting duck late with the winner just sitting at her girth throughout. This looks a very poor race on paper and she again looks the natural leader. Can run things to suit her self and pinch a break on the turn to be a touch too sharp for them. Pattern early in the day should suit leaders and some of these could use the run.
So She Is - 1pt @ 2.4
