Tom Gilmore has dug out a whole host of punting opportunities from Sunday's racing.
Wangaratta R3 No.5 - ATLANTIC ROAD (NAP)
Thought this colt was ok fresh at Pakenham over the 1000m, reckon they were just a touch sharp for him and he did do a few things wrong. Blinkers come off in order to get him to settle and the step up in trip certainly wont hurt. He finished a lip off a nice colt at Moe late last year (went on to be Stakes competitive) and a repeat effort would have him being hard to beat, gets the box seat run from gate 4.

Wangaratta R5 No.6 - ANARE
Her last two wins have been very good, she was strong right through the line winning what was a good race at Pakenham two weeks ago (beat a smart South Australian). Led throughout and was just too strong, thats a very difficult track to hold off closers due to the long run in so theres merit to the win. Track here suits those closest to the speed and she's at her top. In well relative weights, too.

Wangaratta R7 No.3 - WRITTEN
She is just so well in here this mare, gets in on the minimum/inside draw and as a result she wont spend a penny. Six weeks between runs is a slight query but her effort in late January when just missing too All Cerise (race was dominated on-speed) would have her winning this, gets everything in her favour today.

Grafton R7 No.1 - PROFILER (each-way)
Rock hard-fit this fella and his recent dominant win at the Gold Coast two weeks ago was very impressive, jumped well/sat handy and rounding the bend put them to the sword to sprint away comfortably (ran good time v. other 1100m race). I do like the fact he gets to the 1400m for the first time, he should either lead/settle in the box seat from the good draw and be there for a long way. Come up a shade of overs aswell.

Sunshine Coast R3 No.3 - BERNIE OF BABYLON
He maps to run really well here as the clear front-runner early, thought his first-up run leading at the Gold Coast was good. He rolled along at a good clip and was just swamped late, 1st/2nd came from well off the speed so his effort to stick on in what proved a swoopers race was good. He'll strip much fitter for the run and I like they've elected to stick at the 1400m, drops 1.5kgs at the weights and should be left alone early, he'll be mighty hard to run down!

Clare R5 No.3 - IMPULSE BUY
This fella was better than what the form guide reads at Morphettville, basically held his position in running and found the 1000m a touch too sharp (he was six weeks between runs). He'll be better for that and with the drop in grade/progression to 1200m I anticipate he'll be mighty hard to beat. Wouldnt shock to see him roll forward from the draw and try control proceedings in transit.

Bunbury R1 No.5 - RISING SEA
He's had a few trials this fella in order to get to the races and his last two have been good, rolled around Lark Hill at his most recent outing 22/2 over 950m and looked quite good despite doing a bit wrong. Blinkers go on which I fancy will smarten him up and he does appear to have plenty of natural talent. If he puts it all together he could very well blow them away.
