Warrnambool R2 No.4 - FELICETTE
She was sizzling fresh at Pakenham when storming home over the top of them before being a touch unlucky/victim of her tardy getaways in her last efforts. She's struck two very leader bias tracks which hasnt helped but appears to get things in her favour today. This is a very average bunch and Warrnambool tends to favour those off the fence so she'll pick them up with ease and just win.

Warrnambool R5 No.12 - BARMAID FROM WYE
Very, very good run two weeks ago at Stawell over the 1300m after she missed the kick and rattled home to finish a length off the metro-class Beachley. Found some trouble rounding the bend so arguably should have finished closer (hard to make ground on the day, too). Extra trip will suit and there appears decent enough speed engaged on paper, pattern here at Warrnambool should give her a chance to storm home down the centre of the track over the top.

Pakenham R3 No.2 - COMEBACK
Thought he was good fresh despite being rolled at the short quote, just couldnt rein in the leader on a day that proved to favour those on-speed. Tongue-tie goes on which suggests he may have choked down (cant help) during that run, with the outing under his belt expect him to improve and be very tough to beat. Wasnt far away from Mahuta and Holler (G1 colts) at Stakes level last time in!

Pakenham R5 No.13 - SISTER CLOSE
Finally made good on the talent she's shown to this point when winning in impressive fashion here two weeks ago, sat off a good speed then unleashed some big splits late to just savage her rivals. She beat some handy ones that day and did run very good time doing so. Rises 2kgs at the weights and D.Oliver goes on, cant see this being any harder despite technically "rising" in grade. If the penny has dropped she'll turn into a city class filly very quickly.

Pakenham R8 No.12 - GLIB
Was good here two weeks ago when she proved somewhat of a sitting duck for swoopers (1st/2nd) at the 1400m, just had to use a bit of petrol early and it showed in the finish - winner has since come out and run well in good midweek metro race. Expect she'll be close to her top third-up from a fitness perspective and from the good draw will slot into the box seat position in running. Cant see them being keen to lead again, will want to save her final a final effort from the 400m.
