Flemington R1 No.6 - MISS VISTA (NAP)

Could a be a genuine star this filly, debuted a month ago at Ballarat and deadset made a mockery of her rivals. Rolled straight to the front, kept the tempo genuine and just bolted away late under little riding. Smashed the clock which in itself considering she was under no real riding is quite extraordinary as a 3yo filly on debut. This isn't a vintage lot she has to overcome, will be just too speedy for them again.

Flemington R6 No.8 - HIGH CHURCH

Loved his fight at Mornington when winning over 2500m, led all the way/worked hard and was there to be beaten but just fought on too strongly. Drops 4.5kgs for the effort and I do fancy he's a better big track horse. Should find the lead quite comfortably and with a rolling tempo he can ramp things up from the 1000m and prove very hard to catch. Reckon he's improved again since and the quick turnaround will suit his European background.

Flemington R8 No.7 - SUPIDO

I have no doubt he's a colt with G1 level ability, and as a result freshened/back down the straight (goes well!) he should be winning. Has seemed to get things down quite comfortably in recent wins, fancy we haven't really seen the brakes come off to see what he can do, if the stable are keen he measures up in good company later this campaign then I reckon he'll be opened up this afternoon. Not a bad race, either, so they cant take it too lightly. He'll win and be worth following over the coming months.

Randwick R1 No.3 - PRINCESS VEIN

Cummings stable is flying and this filly is going quite well too just quietly, she's been there abouts over the last month but just unable to get the job done. This looks a great race for her on the map (gets the right run) and more importantly on a soft track, she's rock hard fit, which is a huge factor. She's come up a good slice of overs so keen to back her and see her run well.

Randwick R7 No.6 - DUTY DUDE

Very impressive winner a month ago at Kembla Grange (ran ok time) and she showed her adeptness on a soft track. She'll again relish the sting out and dont mind she's been kept on the fresher side/sticking at the 1000m. Might be able to find 'A" ground down the centre of the track from the draw which looks important (get into the lane) and could be the one with a kick at the furlong. Fit/ready to go!

Moe R1 No.13 - VEGAS STRIP

Thought she went really well in a recent trial at Caulfield 12/4, jumped evenly and then towed up nicely under her own steam to finish the heat in good form. She was quite highly thought of as an early 2yo, did bit the line well on debut at Moonee Valley before failing in $500,000 Inglis Nursery race in Sydney. Race plates go on (suggest she's going well) and this isn't a strong field.

Moe R5 No.2 - TO INFINTY

Was six weeks between runs when chasing nicely over the mile at Cranbourne, 1st/2nd were handy to the speed so the fact he ran on against the pattern give plenty of merit to the run. Strips fitter/improves second go at the trip and a bigger track like this here at Moe will suit. Just needs to grab a back for a tow into the race, he'll be a touch too good. Like when they run in BM64 grade and come to a 0-58.
