Geelong R2 No.12 - CARDENAS
Thought this filly did a very good job on debut against the pattern of the evening three weeks ago at Pakenham over the 1100m. Led them up but fitness just told late and was left somewhat of a sitting duck. Takes good benefit from that and Geelong is a much more leader-friendly surface. Can win against an average bunch of older horses!

Geelong R4 No.6 - SNITZEL MUSIC
This is a nice filly who's been competitive with much better than this, dare say being only 6 lengths off Petits Filous (genuine G1 filly) for a race of this nature is very sharp. Two efforts in April were also good, her last crack at the 1000m was when going down narrowly to Jersey Girl. Form like that is good enough to win this and like shes been given five weeks between runs to freshen.

Geelong R6 No.6 - Bon D'Aller
He was very good first time at the 2200m when making the jump from 1800m, got back here two weeks ago and made a sustained run late to just peak. Takes good benefit from the run at the trip (good recipe second go) and again maps for a spot midfield. Theres a bit of speed engaged here so he should be every chance, appeared to relish the Synthetic, too!

Taree R1 No.2 - THE WASP
Tricky race but I thought he was quite sharp on debut at Wyong two weeks ago on the back of two neat trials, didn't have the smoothest of times in transit and was arguably stiff not to win. Second-up to the 1250m wont be an issue and fancy he's better than a 2yo Handicap at Taree. Should settle second half of the field and be strong late over the top.
