Pakenham R1 No.1 - ANZIO

Went well behind a very smart one in Rewarding Effort here at Pakenham ten days ago (they gapped 3rd), that horse will measure up in town this Saturday. Was his first-crack at 1400m so he'll be improved for the effort and does map for the PR of the race, this event lacks overall depth and keen he'll take a power of beating.

Pakenham R3 No.6 - PERFECT LIFELINE (each-way)

Pleased to see gets blinkers on for the first time, he's clearly got talent (did jump-out well) prior to debut here at Pakenham when even at best, then went to Geelong (Synthetic) and got well out of his ground/wide before only being fair through the line. Reckon he'll appreciate the progression to a mile and I do expect the shades to sharpen him up. Expect Bayliss to be more positive from the wide alley!
Perfect Lifeline - 0.5pt e/w @ 9.50

Pakenham R4 No.2 - CHAVUMA (x2 NAP)

He's turned around on the six-day backup after failing down the straight at Flemington, he totally tailed out and is much better than that so fancy he may have swallowed his tongue/breathing issues - tongue-tie goes on today. Run fresh prior was terrific beating (at track/trip) some smart gallopers in good time, should roll to the front and be far too good.
Chavuma - 1pt @ 2.50

Pakenham R5 No.1 - SECRET BLEND

If they ride him correctly he should be far too good for them. Got a mile out of his ground over the 1000m Sandown in his latest effort in a race dominated by those on-speed, not sure he entirely got through the surface either. Back on top of the ground (is first-time on pro-ride) is a plus and think he's now looking for 1200m. Should take closer order from the friendly draw and be too good.
Secret Blend - 1pt @ 2.70

Pakenham R7 No.2 - DREADED

Was ridden upside-down in a very smart even for 3yos at Flemington recently, never got into the race and as a result prepared to forgive. Win two weeks prior on the pro-ride at Geelong over 1900m was good and keen he'll take beating today - should find the PR of the race, has previously been within 2.5 lengths of G1 winner Abbey Marie!
Dreaded - 1pt @ 6.50
