Race 5 2:09pm BENCHMARK 63 HANDICAP 2200m

RIGHTONCUE looks to have found a winnable race here after a good effort last start at Kembla. She wins a race each preparation and this looks to be a good opportunity. She gets a handy 3kg claim for Brock Ryan which could be the difference here.

PARAGON has been a strong winner at his two most recent runs, the last of which came over 2600m at Gosford. At this level the drop back of 400m won’t make much of a difference, he is a horse who looks to have found his mark and has found a winnable race here.

BRILLIANT METEOR comes out of the same race as rightoncue last start at Kembla and the run wasn’t as bad as it reads on paper, it was a close up finish and he was right on the heels of the winner. Up to 2200 looks to suit. As does the engagement of Huet.

I’M TROUBLE looks to be best of the rest after an improved effort last start and getting up to the 2200m here.

Race 6 2:49pm CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1150m

LINDY LOU was tested in the Magic Millions last preparation after a brilliant debut, and although she may not have been ready for such an assignment, she was still fantastic to only be beaten by 4 lengths. She has trialled brilliantly leading in and after the 3kg claim she will be super hard to beat.

INVINCIBLE GEORGE should be unbeaten in his career; he didn’t get the best of rides at Tuncurry at the end of his last preparation. He has trailed well leading into this, and barrier 8 should suit him as he is a big gangly horse who does need room. He is better than a class 1 horse and we may see that here.

BUON NATALE resumes off no trial here and had solid form when with Godolphin. First up last preparation he was 3.6 lengths off Sir Bacchus. He has all gear removed here and looks as if it’s a fresh start for this gelding who is now under the care of Jason Dreamer.

CLEAR RIPPLES has been in quite good form this preparation without winning. She has had a trial between races here and it was quite solid. From an ideal gate she should be prominent.

SELECTIONS: No 5 LINDY LOU, No 9 Invincible George, No 2 Buon Natale, No 4 Clear Ripples
Lindy Lou - 1pt @ 3.00

Race 7 3:29pm BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1200m

KOPITE has run in nice races her last two and gets her chance to break back into the winners stall here. From a good gate she gets a handy 3kg claim and with even luck she will be in the finish.

PETROSSIAN led them up and was just run down late first up. Down in grade and back to the 1200 suits as he should be much fitter. After the claim he is well in at the weights and he's the one they need to run down.

STOP SHORT did a good job winning at Hawkesbury. His form was better than it looked leading in and he deserved that win. Smart choice here to stay at the provincials gives him a chance to win yet another race.

TYPEFACE resumes without a trial here and at his most recent start was good behind Realise Potential. He is a winner at the track in the past and has won first up earlier in his career.

SELECTIONS: No 8 KOPITE, No 2 Petrossian, No 7 Stop Short, No 6 Typeface
Kopite - 1pt @ 4.40

Race 8 4:09pm CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1350m

TENORIO gets a chance to win here after two good runs this preparation. He gets a handy 3kg claim in the weights and should be too good for them.

DINKY DI DORA led all the way last start over the course and distance in a pretty slick time. He will be the one that they have to run down and with Hyeronimus on board, it only enhances his chances.

CANNON RUN was a good winner on debut at Hawkesbury, the 3kg claim is handy as he only has to carry 56kgs here and if he can take improvement from that debut run he will be hard to beat.

MOVING TARGET has trailed well leading into this. He was a winner at his most recent start over course and distance. The trial shows as if he has improved since then, and he can go on with it here.

SELECTIONS: No 1 TENORIO, No 10 Dinky Di Dora, No 5 Cannon Run, No 7 Moving Target
Tenorino - 1pt @ 4.40
