Mildura R2 No.2 - PRIMOSTRAT

Made terrific ground fresh against the pattern at Swan Hill when resuming over the 1200m, they ran ok/relative time on the day and the fact the winner lead/runner-up was handy give plenty of merit to the fact he was able to hit the line late. Fancy he improves/takes good benefit from the effort and proves pretty hard to beat. Might sit closer from the friendly draw?

Mildura R3 No.5 - MAI THAI

She's finished on the heels of better gallopers than this over her career to date, just always seemed to find one (specifically) better. Liked her return at Edenhope three weeks ago over the 1200m, was a drifter in the market but still stuck on ok to the line after being handy throughout. Like the fact the blinkers go on for the first-time, reckon they'll spark her right up and she'll be winning.

Mildura R4 No.2 - BURRUM'S BUZZ

Went really nicely on debut when unlucky not to finish closer to them (if not win!) at Swan Hill over the 1200m, was fairly green/did a bit wrong but showed enough talent. Thought his trial a week ago at St Arnaud was excellent, looked like a horse that had improved for the debut and like he'll appreciate the step to 1300m. Draws to sit closer and should have a bit too much upside for these.
