ZAVARONI would have gone to a spell full of confidence after going well recently. She put in two career bests in her two Victorian runs and from the good gate she should be prominent.

BELEURA BELLE is well in after the claim and was good in a strong race last start.

FREE SPEECH was a strong winner last start in maiden grade. She should take up the lead again here and be hard to run down.

SYRAHBEEL is a two time Geelong Synthetic winner and comes to Pakenham for the first time here. She rises 4.5kgs in weight after a good win last start.

SELECTIONS: No 2 ZAVARONI, No 3 Beleura Belle, No 6 Free Speech, No 1 Syrahbeel
Zavaroni - 1pt @ 3.60

Race 6 3:30pm Benchmark 70 Handicap 1200m

A LITTLEBITOFCLASS is a good synthetic performer and has only missed a place once in six attempts. She was good last start off a freshen up and can go on with it here.

GOODBYE TOULOUSE has trialled well on the track leading into this. First up last preparation she beat Harbour Grey and that form is more than good enough for this.

ARTURO has been good in winning her last two starts at the track. He is up in grade here but is currently flying and will be hard to beat again.

KALABEK drops well in grade here if she could bounce back to her best she should be beating this lot. However, that best hasn’t been seen in some time.

SELECTIONS: No 2 A LITTLEBITOFCLASS, No 4 Goodbye Toulouse, No 3 Arturo, No 7 Kalabek
Alittlebitofclass - 1pt @ 2.80

Race 7 4:00pm Class 1 Handicap 1200m

TRI HARDA looks hard to beat here after a good first-up run. Stepping out to the 1200 suits her here. She wasn’t that far off Snoopy and Challenge Accepted second up last prep.

SINGLE NOTE has some really good form around her in much stronger grade than this. Her two runs back from a spell have been quite good and she’s a chance here.

MURPHY’S REWARD gets his chance to get back in the winners circle here after some reasonable efforts of late. Back on "good" going on the synthetic helps his chances here.

ALL AUSSIE has a host of gear changes here. She hasn’t really shown her best thus far in her career, and if she did, she’d be in the finish here.

SELECTIONS: No 7 TRI HARDA, No 10 Single Note, No 3 Murphy’s Reward, No 8 All Aussie
Tri Harda - 1pt @ 8.50

Race 8 4:30pm Benchmark 64 Handicap 1600m

THORNTON wouldn’t still be in the Williams camp if he didn’t have ability. He debuted in a similar race and resumes here after a long spell and worth taking a punt on him here.

SENSATION ALLY has been really good since coming to the synthetic this preparation. Two strong front-running performances in lesser grade have been good. She is the one they have to run down here.

TURF CRUSHER looks primed for a win here. His three runs back have been quite good and he should be thereabouts again.

GOLD FOR KEV gets his chance to win a race again here. He has been quite short in the market at some recent runs, but looks a chance yet again.

SELECTIONS: No 7 THORNTON, No 6 Sensation Ally, No 1 Turf Crusher, No 10 Gold For Kev
Thornton - 1pt @ 6.00
