Sale R3 No.10 - SLEEPLESS NIGHTS
Thought she was very good first-time at the 1700m here on a bog track two weeks ago, settled well midfield before being asked to wind-up and sustain a run from the 700m. She wobbled around a touch in the straight (fairly green) but knuckled down well late to run through the line. Like they put the shades on to keep her mind on the job, and second-crack at the trip looks ideal. Champion hoop D.Oliver sticks and she's drawn to find the 'A' ground again. Should be winning.

Sale R7 No.2 - TOP RAVINE
His run returning at Echuca over 1400m when he clearly needed the gallop was excellent under the circumstances, did some work to find the lead and offered a good kick upon straightening before only just being nabbed late. We saw him win earlier this year here at Sale over the 1700m, before going on to run very well in the G2 Autumn Classic at Caulfield (1800m). Got within 2 lengths of Tally on that occasion (he beat home G1 winner Palentino and then went on to run 3rd in AJC Derby), that sort of formline is certainly good enough for this and he's shown a liking to bog surfaces.

Warwick Farm R7 No.15 - AURORA GLOW
Mare was very unlucky at Canterbury mid June over 1550m before breaking through at her next start when stepping to a mile at Wyong, she wound up nicely to come home over the top late (doing her best work on the line). Runner-up from that went to on to start favourite/fail in $85,000 race in town (fairly forgiving) so reckon theres merit to the form. Don't mind she's been kept fresh and there looks good speed engaged on paper, if pattern suits those running on (should by R7) she'll be mowing them down late .

Doomben R2 No.10 - RAHDANE
Couldn't have been more tardy away in his debut back in April at Ipswich, his race was all but over. With that in mind he did find plenty and actually managed to run through the line ok. Has been given time to mature physically/mentally and recent trials suggest he's come back in good order. Looks fairly wound up to win resuming, gets the PR of the race so shouldn't have any excuses.
