Geelong R2 No.13 - FUTURE IN DOUBT
She's been a touch up and down in her 4 starts to date, but was fairly impressed by her recent jump-out at Caulfield (2/8) over 750m in what was rather slick time. She jumped well/settled and then quickened well when asked to, she went through the line as good as any of the triallers that morning. Granted she is a speed horse, hence why I'm pleased to see her kick off at the 1000m. Don't think the 1100/1200m in her latest prep suited, she's got a very short/sharp sprint that should be suited here. Gets PR from the gate and hard to beat!

Geelong R3 No.13 - HIDDEN AWAY
Thought her debut here two weeks ago over the 1100m was very good (race rated well!). She was totally run off her legs early and appeared to wobble around the home bend (lost 2 lengths) before knuckling down nicely late to run through the line like a coming winner. Ran very similar closing splits to winner Junior Burger (since unlucky in town) and will only be improved getting to 1300m. Better for the outing and can take closer order from the favourable marble, should be winning.

Geelong R4 No.4 - MYHRO (x2 NAP)
Was only bettered by a fairly smart one here two weeks ago over the 1200m in Movie (since well backed fav in SA/failed), they totally spaced everything else and ran good time doing so, horse who was beaten by 7 lengths has since come out and won which is always a good sign. Think she'll sit in the box seat and just be a bit too slick for them.
Myhro - 2pt @ 2.65
Geelong R8 No.6 - THE BLONDE ALIBI
Third-up/back onto the pro-ride this mare is ready to win, thought her effort on a bog track at latest outing (Murtoa) was good under the circumstances, she was forced wide/did plenty of work but still stuck on gamely. Don't mind the four-week gap between runs, she does go well fresh. Slight query from the inside gate but if she can track the leaders everywhere they go and grab a split late, she's good enough to win this. Ideally she may even lead?
The Blonde Alibi - 1pt @ 3.90
Taree R2 No.1 - I'M A REBEL
Gelding was good on debut at Coffs Harbour two weeks ago over the 1000m, did some work to find the front and as a result was a touch soft late. Reckon he'll take great benefit physically and very pleased to see them stick at the short-course. Like the wide draw, he'll bounce on the bunny and be a bit too slick for them, only beaten by a race-fit one prior but has edge on key rivals here.
I'm a Rebel - 1pt @ 4.50
Taree R5 No.1 - BETTABET RED
Was 1350m to 1600m at Grafton for latest effort and went very nicely, made terrific ground from near on last and hit the line like a coming winner (in better company than this). Had the run at the trip so expect her to be close to her top today, gets in well relative weights thanks to the A.Skerritt claim and there does appear genuine speed on paper. If she can manoeuvre off the rail and find clear galloping room from the 400m she'll be too strong late.
Bettabet Red - 1pt @ 3.80
