The rail at Hawkesbury is at the True Position for the entire circuit and they’ll be running on a Good 4.
Fine conditions are expected for the day, so we should see a fair day of racing.

POET'S ADVOCATE put in an improved run second-up at Gosford finishing in the placings. Just needs even luck in-running from the gate to be right in the finish again.
LADY CHALFONT won her latest trial at Hawkesbury and the market should give us a better indication.
MY MILLY MOO resumes here and has won both her lead-up trials. The trials suggest that she’s improved.

MORE TO GAIN did a good job finishing a close second at Gosford when resuming. Fitter here and did run second at this trip at Kembla at the same stage of preparation last time in.
VENCEDORA is chasing a hat-trick of wins after successive victories at Goulburn and Wyong. Races on speed which is an advantage.
SONATA SONG is chasing back-to-back wins at Hawkesbury. The extra 100m looks a query, but does get in at the weights well.

SWEET FIRE was well beaten both runs this time in but does have a solid third-up record and no surprise to see a sharp improvement.
DRAGON FLYER doesn't win out of turn but close up all three runs this time in and worth including in the wider exotics from a good gate.
WALTZING WILLIE has been close up in all three runs this preparation. Up in grade, but gets in on the minimum and worth including in the wider exotics.
SELECTIONS: No 4 MCCREERY, No3 Sweet Fire, No5 Dragon Flyer, No6 Waltzing Willie
Race 8 5:05pm HEINEKEN STAKES MAIDEN PLATE 1100m
GENETEAU resumes on the back of a runner-up finish in a Randwick trial. Finished a close second at Gosford when resuming last time in and looks a strong chance fresh.
BELLA VINO resumes after winning a recent Rosehill trial. Wasn't far from the winner in three metropolitan races before the break and gets his chance racing back in a provincial maiden.
FITNAH resumes for her new stable and should be fit enough after three solid trials. Didn't do a lot in two Victorian runs before heading north, but the trials suggest she is in for a much improved campaign.
SELECTIONS: No 11 MISSILE STRIKE, No13 Geneteau, No15 Bella Vino, No4 Fitnah
