R1 6pm VISIT CLUB OFFICER MAIDEN PLATE 2500m

ARITE GURU (NEXT BEST BET) gets a big drop in class here. He gave a good effort when elevated to a 78-plus handicap and ran sixth over 2400m at Geelong on October 19. He goes up 4kgs to 58.5kg but is back in maiden grade and strikes a very mild field here. Top jockey Michael Walker replaces Daniel Moor and he looks to have the miles in his legs and all he has to do is reproduce his last start.

SELECTIONS: No1 ARITE GURU, No2 Corruption, No4 Emandems, No7 Foraoise.
ARITE GURU - 1pt @ 2.70

THE TINKER can play a role here if he gets a clean run. He had no luck whatsoever last start when running seventh at Moe over 2050m on October 13. He goes up 2.5kg to 58kg but he is rock hard for this. Makes appeal.

DELIGHTFUL SON has the blinkers going back on here. He scored a good win over 2200m here last start when carrying 52.5kg. Georgina Cartwright keeps the ride and her 2kg claim reduces his impost to 58.5kg. He rates as a good chance again.

THE ULTIMATUM looms as a chance in a mild race. He ran a solid third over 2520m at Cranbourne at his last start on October 14. Jarrod Fry is the new rider and he is again on 59.5kg.

JOVIAN fought hard to run second over 2520m at Cranbourne at his last start on October 14. He was well fancied at $4.40 and will have senior rider John Allen, replacing an apprentice here, carrying 57kg.

SELECTIONS: No3 THE TINKER, No1 Delightful Son, No2 The Ultimatum, No4 Jovian.

R6 8.30pm WEDDINGS AT PRC BM70 HANDICAP 1200m

BELUGA CAVIAR has a good fresh record of two starts for a win and a third. He won well at Ballarat before he was elevated to Caulfield, where at $10 he ran eighth to The New Boy on April 23. Hails from a top stable.

I BOUGHT A HORSE has a good strike-rate and has claims here. At his last run he ran second as a $6.50 chance over 1250m at Morphettville on September 29. Jamie Mott rides here.

ROMAN FIZZ should get a cosy seat here and he can run a big race first-up. He showed he was primed for a top showing with a smart ¾ length win in an 800m trial at Cranbourne on October 17.

STRINGER BELL rang a cord with punters backing him from $6 into $4.80 but he was not good enough, finishing fourth over 1300m at Bendigo on October 15. John Allen rides again.

SELECTIONS: No1 BELUGA CAVIAR, No4 I Bought A Horse, No7 Roman Fizz, No3 Stringer Bell.
BELUGA CAVIAR - 1pt @ 8.00

R7 9pm PAKENHAMRACING.COM.AU BM70 HANDICAP 1400m

KILMACURRAGH looms as the main danger. He capped his maiden campaign with a second over 2000m at Flemington on June 6. Top Melbourne hoop Dwayne Dunn comes here to ride him and he has plenty of upside.

SIR NEMO was disappointing when running ninth over 1400m at Geelong on October 19. He won quite well at his previous start at the same track and has a new rider with Michael Walker taking over.

GREDINGTON (BEST ROUGHIE) was racing second up when running a solid fifth to the highly fancied Maternal over 1400m here on October 20. He gets his chance and will strip fitter.

SELECTIONS: No1 EMOJI, No9 Kilmacurragh, No8 Sir Nemo, No2 Gredington.
KILMACURRAGH - 1pt @ 2.00

R8 9.30pm SPORTSBET RACING FORM CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1600m

BARBIE’S BOY was lifted way outside his class last start but he gave a strong effort to run fourth in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas (1600m) on October 8. He plummets down in class here and on his prior country form rates highly.

RUBME was super impressive at debut, bolting away to a 2 ¼ length win at Wangaratta on a Heavy 9 track on October 11, but he eased from $21 to $31 so he won without a friend. Worth watching.

ELECTRIC AURA finally broke his maiden status with a smart ¾ length win over 1600m at Moe on October 13. Top jockey Michael Walker sticks to him here and is an each-way chance.

QUEDOUTES hit the line strongly first up to run fifth over 1490m on a Heavy 8 at Bendigo on October 6. Stable rider Matthew Allen will steer here and is on firmer ground.

SELECTIONS: No5 BARBIE’S BOY, No1 Rubme, No6 Electric Aura, No2 Quedoutes.
