MISS DEBUTANTE comes out of a high rating race on debut. She has trialled well on two occasions leading in and will be hard to beat.
ARMET was good on debut and looks well set up for a good first-up run here after two solid trials.
JEXERLENT was just touched off first-up and had good form in his first preparation. He loses Clark here, which is a touch concerning.
AZCANNYAZ has been quite good in all of his runs thus far, but always seems to find one better and this looks to be the same.
SELECTIONS: No 6 MISS DEBUTANTE, No 2 Armet, No 3 Jexerlent, No 7 Azcannyaz.
VALUE RUNNER: No 3 Jerxerlent.

Race 3 2:15pm BISHOP COLLINS CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS F&M MAIDEN PLATE 1350m
SLUMBER PARTY (BEST BET) was just weird last start; she looked like she was going to be beaten 100 yards and rallied to run fifth. I’m forgetting that run and going off her previous form, which is some of the best 2yo form in the country. Parr should control the pace here and she should kick away and break her maiden.
SELECTIONS: No 9 SLUMBER PARTY, No 7 Pax Vivere, No 4 Collage, No 10 War ‘N’ Peace.
VALUE RUNNER: No 4 Collage.

Race 5 3:25pm CARTER HEAVY HAULAGE & TRANSPORT CG&E BENCHMARK 60 HANDICAP 1200m
HANOVER SQUARE (BEST ROUGHIE) was really good in his first preparation and wasn’t too far from Foxplay at his most recent start. The trial leading in was pleasing and he is well weighted after a claim.
FORT MYER was a strong winner at Gosford last start. Previous to that, his form was solid and this looks to be a logical next step.
BAGUA has trialled well enough leading into this. His form last prep was a little patchy, but this is a suitable race.
MOSSMAN’S GOLD hit the line well at Scone over 1100m. I like the step up to 1200m here and I’m trusting that race at Scone.
SELECTIONS: No 1 HANOVER SQUARE, No 7 Fort Myer, No 4 Bagua, No 3 Mossman’s Gold.
VALUE RUNNER: No1 Hanover Square.

Race 8 5:10pm PRDNATIONWIDE HUNTER VALLEY BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 2100m
DON PELLEGRINO (NEXT BEST) was fantastic in a stronger race than this on cup day, and was just too far off them at the top of the rise, but hit the line well. Back to 2100m is no issue here. Clark should have him closer in the run and back on his home deck he should be too strong.
SELECTIONS: No 1 DON PELLEGRINO, No 2 Marman, No 7 Suggestapartner, No 3 Charlie Royale.
VALUE RUNNER: No 7 Suggestapartner.
