Four days remain until USA votes, here's our regular update of everything punters need to know.
Another bombshell week, but this time for Clinton. The FBI announced it will reopen the investigation into her private email server and Trump threatens to pull off an astonishing comeback, although an ongoing rape lawsuit against him is receiving fresh attention.
Whisper it softly but President Trump could become a reality on Wednesday. Clinton has blown what looked to be an unassailable 7.1 point lead in the polls just weeks ago and Trump at 3.50 odds with Bet365 doesn't look too shabby.
The Republican candidate was handed an almighty lifeline when FBI Director, James Comey reopened the federal investigation into the former Secretary of State, despite deciding not to bring any criminal charges against her in July.
The FBI's decision was based on new emails found on disgraced former Congressman, Anthony Weiner's laptop which he shared with estranged wife, Huma Abedin. Abedin is one of Clinton's closest aides, but Weiner has been involved in three sexual scandals because he's literally addicted to sexting. Look it up.
Comey stated the new trove of emails might or might not be significant, which has invited plenty of speculation. And Trump is loving it. He's been crunched from 6.00 odds a few weeks ago to a 3.50 chance at the White House.
However, the billionaire's sleazy past continues to haunt him. A woman who sued Trump several months back for allegedly raping her as a 13-year-old in 1994, cancelled a press conference where she was expected to reveal her identity and speak publicly for the first time. So watch this space.
HIGHLIGHTS & LOWLIGHTS
Former New Hampshire governor and Trump supporter, John Sununu cracking a joke, "Do you think that Bill was referring to Hillary when he said: 'I did not have sex with that woman?'" Ba dum tish.
Clinton in damage control, “Even director Comey noted that this new information may not be significant, so let’s get it out."
Melania Trump promising to fight online bullying, “We have to find a better way to talk to each other, to disagree with each other, to respect each other. We must find better ways to honour the basic goodness of our children, especially on social media”. That's rich.
Melania's speech today would be like Bernie Madoff's wife giving a talk on integrity of investment portfolios and fighting Ponzi schemes— Matthew Dowd (@matthewjdowd) November 3, 2016
MSNBC host , Al Sharpton interviewing President Obama about a Trump presidency, “Can you imagine how you would feel standing on the steps of the Capitol having to hand over the power and watch him put his hand on that Bible and become your successor?” Obama, “No.”
Vice Presidential pick for the Libertarian Party, Bill Weld, “I’m not sure anybody is more qualified than Hillary Clinton to be president of the United States.” Explains why no one ever votes for these guys.
WINNERS & LOSERS
Loser – John Podesta: Clinton's campaign chairman attended a 'Spirit Cooking' dinner at the home of artist Marina Abramovic. Abromovic is a bit of a Satanist and her ‘recipes’ include breast milk, sperm, fresh morning urine and menstrual blood. Geeeezus.
Winner – The Ku Klux Klan: The white supremacists' official newspaper formally endorsed Trump last week and will be loving his bounce back in the polls. Reportedly also hate Mexicans.
Loser – Carlos Danger: Aka the fake name Anthony Weiner used to send explicit photos to women. Weiner just can't stay out of the headlines.
Winner – The Republican Senate majority: Trump's rebound means the Republican party might just yet hold on to their majority in the Senate, making Clinton's life a living hell if she is elected.
Loser – The traveling press pool: Trump has a love-hate relationship with the press and ditched reporters again on Thursday while on the campaign trail.
BIG BETS & EXOTICS
The big money continues to roll in and punters have been more than willing to put their dollars on the US election. Oddschecker has facilitated a number of large bets, including $4,000 on Trump and $2,800 on Clinton in recent days.
Those looking for something more exotic should consider the chances of the FBI finding a smoking gun in the new batch of emails they're examining, which would let them indict Clinton.
Sportsbet is currently offering 9.50 odds for Hillary Clinton not to be the Democratic Presidential Candididate on November 8 2016. The way things are going, that might just be worth a flutter!
