Australia have a chance to extend their world record, and on a flat surface they could do this easily.
Australia v India
I’m backing Australia to take a 4-0 lead in the series when the two teams meet in Canberra. The Aussies have now gone 17 consecutive games on home soil which is a world record, I’m expecting them to increase this to 19 with absolute ease. The Aussies come of the back of three big run chases, their batsman will be going into the game with a lot of confidence. Given the form of both the Australian batsman and Indian bowlers I expect them to chase down any total that India post. India will be pleased to see the return of David Warner, Shaun Marsh will miss out which is pretty stiff on the lad.

Top Australian Bowler
It’s out of Kane Richardson and Scott Boland who gets replaced by Nathan Lyon, but if Richardson keeps his place he’ll be a great bet for Top Bowler. His skill set with then new ball will be vital for Australia taking early wickets to heap the pressure on India. Especially if they can dislodge Sharma in the first ten overs. If Australia bat first and set a huge total the Indian order could fold early on, giving Richardson plenty of chances to take a few scalps.

Top Australian Batsman
If Shaun Marsh was a definite to play I would back him to top score for Australia as he’s in fine form, and will be out to prove a point he belongs in this team. With Warner coming back he’ll most likely giveaway, therefore I’m backing Smith to steal the show. This ground is usually very flat, slowing up and getting easier as the ball gets older. When you throw in someone of Smiths stature into this scenario it could be a very tiring afternoon for the Indian bowlers. Smith is in great touch and I expect him to cash in here.
Steve Smith - 1pt @ 4.00
Top Indian Batsman
India’s best hope of winning lies with Virat Kohli, if the face of Indian cricket can pull something out the bag they’ve got a chance of an upset. Virat has looked class in this series so far, which is more than I can say for some of the Indian batsman. The Indian star loves to lead from the front and could find batting pleasurable on this flat surface. He is also a very proud man, and even though there is nothing to play for he won’t want to leave Australia without a win.
