Tom Gilmore has two strong fancies at decent prices at Werribee on Tuesday.
Werribee R1 No.4 - IRISH SATURDAY
Promising 3yo this who returns fresh after a solid debut campaign during the winter months, improved to a point where he beat all bar one home in a what has proved to be a very good race at Geelong over 1200m (had G1 Derby runner-up Etymology covered!). Looks to be good speed engaged so it wouldnt shock me to see him take a sit from the favourable draw/be the one with the last crack at them.

Werribee R6 No.8 - HITCH EM UP
Is a nice horse this and was good winning two weeks ago at Sale over 1100m, he still floated a touch leading and gets the blinker on here in order to sharpen him up. Speed looks ok on paper but think he is smart/should be close to his peak for this. Can take a sit in order to finish up or again possibly lead, form looks rock solid as the runner-up from that race at Sale came out and won at Moonee Valley last Friday night!
