It's a quiet day of racing but Tom Gilmore has found two horses worth an interest.
Werribee R1 No.8 - BEACH FIGHTER
Looks a thin race and despite the fact she is yet to win from six cracks this appears her most likely chance to breakthrough, was good behind Super Bryan (then ok in town) at Yarra Valley a month ago and then was beaten by a pretty slick one at Cranbourne in Vicious (they ran ok time). 1100m and the wide alley dont concern as she'll get to the front early, if she gets enough peace might be very had to beat!

Werribee R3 No.9 - STYLISH ASSASSIN
Another who doesnt win out of turn but if not today, then when? Liked his effort at Cranbourne two weeks ago when only being collared by the city-class Septamore, that horse had been competitive in much better company and gave plenty of merit to the performance. Despite his pedigree I think the step to 1600m will suit, he needs to settle in running to be any chance and i think that'll be the case here. Wont spend a penny from the inside draw.
