Thought he was very impressive on debut when jumping to the front/leading all the way over the 1100m at Colac four weeks ago, ran slickest time of the three races over the trip on the day (including older horses) so the event has rated nicely and should stand up going forward. Runner-up has since gone to Sandown and been competitive while 3rd was a winner at Tatura recently. Should again find the fence and with natural improvement be very hard to beat.

Has improved with each run since returning to racing back in February, was ok fresh before being something beaten second-up at Clare where she probably sat a touch too close. Then went to town and actually performed well, splits late were good from the rear of the field in a race where you had to be handy to them at the turn. Gives the impression she's now looking for the 1400m and the speed on paper does look genuine, could be the one rattling home over the top of them late.
