Werribee R4 No.10 - FAIR ISLE (x2 NAP)
Nice filly this and I can really seeing her hitting her top this afternoon, excellent fresh over 1400m at Albury before making plenty of ground late against the race pattern over 1500m at Cranbourne two weeks ago in what has proven a slick maiden (runner-up since come out and been a dominant winner). Drawing out will be ok, fancy they'll be getting off the fence and three-wide/with cover may very well be 'A" ground in running. Should be too good.

Werribee R8 No.14 - EYES OF LOVE
She has been a certainty beat in her past two starts over 1400m and 1600m respectively, they've figured out that riding her cold suits which will favour today. She's got a serious turn of foot and only needs clean air to be threatening late. Like she's been given a month to freshen up, does go well with a space between runs and fancy the pattern of the day will give her every chance with a rolling tempo mid-race.
Eyes of Love - 1pt @ 4.40
Scone R1 No.6 - TANTAMOUNT
Never had a better chance to break his duck this fella, and if he doesnt today he may just never win! Thought his run fresh was actually quite good at Armidale two weeks ago over the 1100m, was unable to close the gap on leader/eventual winner but was finding the line well late. Strips fitter and 1300m will suit, gets all the favours from the inside draw where he'll box-seat and not spend a penny, just needs some room rounding the turn to be able to run over the top of them.
Tantamount - 1pt @ 1.95
Cranbourne R2 No.9 - LA PADRINA
She was quite good fresh looking to make ground at Echuca two weeks ago over the 1200m, traditionally a very tough course for those looking to run-on so her effort was pleasing. Will take great benefit from that run and will absolutely eat the 1400m, often they can storm home down the centre of the track off momentum at the bend when rail true. All she needs is the tempo/speed to be genuine early and she'll be right there to pounce.
La Padrina - 1pt @ 3.00
Cranbourne R4 No.5 - SUNSHINE EXCEL
Huge effort from this mare when returning 12 days ago at Ballarat over the 1000m off a 14 month absence. Was deadset friendless in betting which was a worry but overcame that fact to perform well. Went back in the small field early looking to settle which she did, peeled at the bend and was very solid over the final 200m to run through the line with authority (like a coming winner). 1st/2nd to the bend went one-two so the run has merit. Will only improve for that run and a big tick stepping to 1200m, she's the one to beat.
Sunshine Excel - 1pt @ 4.60
Cranbourne R6 No.4 - NAT'S THE BOSS
Was put into an awful position at Sandown two weeks ago over the 1300m and under the circumstances to finish as close as she did (within a length) was huge. Was forced to make ground closer to the worst part of the track (inside) and had some traffic problems along the way which didnt help. Fancy she may have peaked on her run over the trip so the drop back to 1200m will suit, they'll go hard here and she'll be 3 pairs back with cover ready to swoop.
Nats the Boss - 1pt @ 4.80
