Talented filly resuming over a trip thats probably a touch short, but I fancy with the long run in at Sale she may just get the chance to wind up and be hitting the line hard over the top. Has trialled well recently (went to Sandown for a hitout) and was competitive with some classy gallopers in her debut preparation who measured up to Stakes company. She's a bigger, stronger horse this time in and will go close here resuming.

Sale R3 No.10 - ROSTOCK

Was 1100m to 1500m second-up at Geelong when getting well back and finding the line strongly late. May have just peaked on his run late (fitness) but he'll take great benefit from that and keen he improves a good 3-4 lengths. They'll get along in this and with the right tow into the race he'll be hitting the line down the centre of the track late. Pattern should suit those getting off the fence and no harm now at 1700m.

Sale R6 No.11 - BONNIE BELLE

Good fresh over 1200m, better over 1400m with the sting out at Geelong, and now ready to peak at mile from the right draw/on the minimum. She showed good tractably sitting closer to the speed at her latest effort and it would be ideal if she was again within three pairs of the leaders rounding the bend. If so, she can reel off the splits in the final 400m to be far too strong late. Has taken time to mature, but looks to have good upside heading into the off-season months.

Canterbury R2 No.1 - INVINCIBELLA

Excellent in a slick race here two weeks ago where they ran smart time, she went down a nose to the winner who just sat a pair closer to the leader. Couldn't quite reel her in but another 15m and things may have been different. Only had the one trial leading in and Waller horses traditionally improve with a run under their belts. Interesting what they do from the inside draw, anticipate Hutchings will punch up and be tracking the leader, looking to get the last crack at them. 1100m probably not ideal but can overcome it.

Canterbury R4 No.2 - ZOURKHAN

Import who went enormous on debut for C.Waller two weeks ago over the 1580m here at Canterbury, got back early and just hurtled home late. Had never started at any distance below 2000m so getting to 1900m with the run under his belt can only be beneficial. He'll again get back and with the tempo looking genuine enough, he should get every chance to hurtle home over the top. Might be winning this and heading towards bigger goals?

Missed on debut in a smart maiden here over 1111m last year before going to town in November and being unlucky not to defeat Evil Dreams (Stakes competitive since). Blinkers and a tongue-tie go on after his failure at the end of his last campaign, as a result he'll go forward and be far too good. He's a Saturday horse and will get the Maiden out of the way this afternoon.
