Warrnambool R5 No.7 - G'DAY BLUE

Really liked his recent win at Echuca on a bottomless track over the 1200m, he was third-up/first crack on a heavy track and he was excellent despite having little luck mid-race. Was posted through and still showed enough tenacity to find the line. Reckon he'll get a charmed run in transit and if anything he may have been even further improved for the testing run. Should be hard to beat in suitable conditions here!

Warrnambool R6 No.3 - HUMAN LEAGUE

Thought his effort when just missing here almost five weeks ago over the 1400m was excellent, he was second-up off quite a lengthy break so you'd have to think he's still gaining fitness/improving. Gets in really well relative weights thanks to the claim from L.Riordan and if anything back to 1300m may suit, will press forward from the wide alley and no doubt be right in the thick of it. Latest outing rated well enough to win this.

Warrnambool R7 No.2 - DISCO BELLE

She's found a new lease on life getting onto heavy tracks over the last month, latest win at Hamilton three weeks ago over the 1400m was dominant (and has produced winners!). Found the right run in transit but really extended away late to basically street them. Ran 5-6 lengths quicker overall time than that 1400m event following, that rates well enough to get it done here and the claim from E.Brown is very helpful.

Warracknabeal R2 No.12 - WE ARE BOMBER FANS (x2 NAP)

Has run well in much better company than this in three runs to date, latest outing back in January of this year saw her get within a length of Elegant Queen (that horse recently run well in $120,000 race in town) as a short priced-fav. Recent jump-out at Flemington was sound in good time, interesting to see a tongue-tie on/blinkers off for her return today. Might look to get her to settle with cover and be strong late? Heavy track is some unknown but if she's anywhere near wound up, should be winning.

Warracknabeal R4 No.5 - MAKE MINE BRANDY

Totally forgiving of her recent failure over 1400m at Echuca, was ridden upside down to some extent and din't see out the end of 1400m. Back to the six furlongs will certainly suit her and she does go well on bog tracks. Gets good speed on paper and does draw for a fairly soft run in transit, if pattern suits she'll be the one hitting the line late over the top, just needs to find a backside into the race - last win was heavy/1200m!
