FAT CHAP has won two of his last four. Weakened over the final stages over 2000m at Randwick last start. Makes his own luck on speed and 1900m around Canterbury looks ideal.

QUARTERMASTER finished his race off strongly when close up here last start. Doesn't win out of turn but the extra distance suits and worth including in the wider exotics.

ADABOY ROSS resumes here and has had the benefit of a trial. Big run at Randwick first-up last preparation. Knockout hope at odds here.
