3rd Quarter Winner

The first Grand Slam is under way in Melbourne, Novak and Serena Williams are out to defend their Australian Open titles.

It’s very difficult to oppose Djokovic in the men’s singles and I’m not here to tell you to punt on such a short price tournament bet. He is however seeded to face Roger Federer in the semi-finals and then the Pommie Andy Murray in the final. Barring any kind of major upset he should go all the way once more.

The 3rd quarter looks the most open and also the best market to punt on. Stan Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal are tussling for favorutism, however Milos Raonic who’s fresh from beating King Fed in the Final in Brisbane looks extremely good value at $6. The Canadian managed to reach the quarter-finals a year ago where he was troubled with lower back spasms. The back issues have now been resolved, Milos also has new coach Carlos Moya by his side, who is very confident the Canadian can go along way down under. It’s also worth backing him to reach the final at $15.

To win a set

There isn’t much which stands out to me on the match front, although two of the best servers on the circuit go head-to-head when Rajeev Ram faces Kevin Anderson. This match won’t be the best too watch, but it does through up some quite tempting odds, especially the first set to go into a tiebreak. And also Rajeev Ram winning a set at $2.25.
